Clinexus Health Product Demonstration Pilot Program

Expressions of Interest Application Deadline: April 17, 2012

Clinexus, a branch of Alberta Innovates - Technology Futures, is calling for Expressions of Interest for a new Health Product Demonstration Pilot Program. Co-funded by Western Economic Diversification Canada, the program provides small to medium, Alberta-based, health technology companies with access to clinical testing and evaluation services.

Through this program Clinexus aims to solve the challenges experienced by many companies in the province that lack access to the right clinical expertise and need financial assistance to complete vital product testing and evaluation prior to commercial launch.

The competition for this fund is in two stages:

1.          We are inviting interested companies to complete an application for an Expression of Interest which must arrive 
              at Clinexus office’s by Tuesday, April 17, 2012.
2.          Shortlisted applicants will then be requested to complete a Detailed Project Proposal and funds will be awarded
              to the successful applicants and a clinical testing site for the selected project.

At this stage, we anticipate only making one call for proposals. Depending upon the level of interest, we may announce a second call for Expressions of Interest later in the year.
